Nicolas Potel, Romanee Saint Vivant Size:6x750ml This is an excellent exampleAromatically similar to the Echzeaux with its floral, crushed black fruit nose but there is even more Asian spice box quality here and a clear element of breed and sophistication. Discreet, understated, complex and complete flavors lead to a wonderfully detailed, persistent and relatively fine finish underpinned by ripe yet firm tannins. Very impressive juice and this could surprise on the upside.
